There was a mad beggar on the road that day. He sat thinking that his left hand was trying to gain precedence over his right hand. To prevent it from becoming stronger, he rolled his left hand into a fist and hit the brick wall he was leaning against. Not only did his comfort get disturbed, his left hand was also broken. Then he kept punching the wall, so that the left hand did not heal and did not become stronger than the right. He did not pause to think that he should just let it heal while the right hand became stronger without challenge. He did not pause to think if a balance could be achieved between the two hands or not. He just went on punching, allowing the blood to stain the wall, and scar it for life.

  1. Did you really see this? He was probably punishing his hand for having done something his mind would not have allowed it to do?Sometimes ppl do it unto themselves...when they stop evolving in order to let their loved ones catch up.and then it becomes a habit to stop evolving for stretches at a time.
I remember this beggar on mtp road who challenged annaji to shed the weight on his head the way he himself could...he was carrying some torn papers, and shoes and cloths. When annaji did not reply,he only cackled..you cant.you are giving great value for all that you carry on your head.be like me.you will be happy.:)
annaji even now calls him his guru.Strange are the ways of life.

  2. :) crazy! or profound? perhaps both. Wonder what 'mad' ppl think about themselves & ppl who arnt 'mad'. Agree with the pt of stopping a while to let others catch up. The dynamics can play out in so many interesting ways!
